Hi there

It is removed after 6 years of being on the credit file (that is unless you have a reason why the lender should not have entered the default).

Did they do it in error?

OK, which lender did this?

Customer: replied 9 days ago.
Lowell

Don't they act on behalf of a lender?. for debt collection? It would have been the lender which entered the default

Customer: replied 9 days ago.
The lender is EE Limited

First of all make a complaint to EE here:

https://ee.co.uk/help/help-new/make-a-complaint

After that and assuming they do not remove the default, escalate the complaint to the Ombudsman here:

https://www.financial-ombudsman.org.uk/consumers/how-to-complain

The ombudsman will speak to EE and check whether the default was justified or not. If not and the Ombudsman upholds your complaint then they will order EE to remove the default from your credit file.

Ok. Thank you! Do I need to wait 6 years for removed
No if they agree to remove it beforehand then it will come off the record sooner

Of course I will give you 5 stars! The Leander didn’t agree to remove my default acc. And I don’t know what to do more.
