This relates to UK Law. I am director in an SPV which invests in property. The SPV is to be wound down and dissolved once the profits have been distributed to all directors. Can the winding down process be blocked by someone who is trying to sue us for a debt that is owed?

The answer would be no or extremely unlikely.

Such legal events basically never occur and the winding down process is never blocked.
