We had an adoption placement .The child killed a big duck.

Customer Question

Hi we had an adoption placement .The child killed a big duck. Child went back. We had a farm. At the Disruption meeting we found out the child had viscously kicked the foster mums cat. We then went through complaints until the Ombudsman and they said we had in justice.if we had known at the beginning we would of walked on because of all the animals we had. Also the Ombudsman said to our agency that this would affect our way forward in adoption. It did and our agency did not support us and we didn’t pass panel. What can we do.

Hi sorry, so to clarify, you had an adoption placement but then because the child killed a duck you told the agency to take the child back?

Customer: replied 4 months ago.
They took her and put her in foster care

Hi thank you for your message and then you failed the adoption panel because you consider the agency gave you no support?
