No she lives in Cambridge no I do not pay rent

Any written agreement?

Customer: replied 9 days ago.
I did sign something but they kept it.i have been here for 6yrs

What have they served so far, just a notice to quit?

Customer: replied 9 days ago.
No she sent a letter saying how on grateful I was .its just because I criticised her for giving in one then taking it a way with the other hand

Ok. The bad news is that you can be evicted. You have no right to be there. You are not a tenant paying rent.

However, she must must must get a Court order.

A notice to quit would have to be served first then seek a Court order.

You have probably around 2-3 months before you would need to move.

But based on what you said to me, you have no right to remain. Even if you were a Tenant, if you were outside the fixed period the Landlord would just need to give notice and then get a Court order

I am sorry if this is not the answer you want, nor the one I want to give you, but I have a duty to be honest

Can I clarify anything for you about this today please?

Customer: replied 9 days ago.
They are coming down to see me .i do not know when

Ok. You dont have to let them in. Remember, they MUST MUST MUST have a Court order to evict.

Does that assist?

Customer: replied 9 days ago.
They have got keys to get in.if I do not let them in they will be even madder with me.

They have no right of entry. The Landlord does not live in.

But they CAN NOT evict you. If they try, call the Police.

Does that clarify?
