Hi, I play rugby, got into a scuffle and then punched somebody and broke his jaw, his club are now pressing charges on me, so I have any defence?

Customer: No I do not have any four dates as of yet

Why did you punch him?

Because he was grappling with a team mate of mine, so I tried to grab him and couldn’t because of his size, I then jabbed him to get his attention and he fell on the floor

You don’t have a defence. It has to be reasonable force. Breaking someone’s jaw in a game isn’t reasonable. It’s a criminal offence. You could be sent to prison for it
