i wanted to know what steps i can take in order to get the rest of my wages and some compensation for unlawful dismissal

Before taking the matter to the employment tribunal the rules requires for you to contact ACAS first. They are able to give you free, impartial advice on workplace rights, rules and best practice. They can mediate between yourself and your employers to come to a quick resolution to this dispute. You must act quickly as you have three months after having been dismissed to bring a claim for unfair dismissal.
