Hi, welcome to JustAnswer. My name is Jo C, I’m a barrister with 12 years of experience and I am happy to help with your question today.
can you give me all the background to your question please
What are you hoping to do about this?
What are you trying to achieve?
So are you asking if you can force them to charge him?
You cannot force them to change their mind about this if they have formed a view that your allegations lack merit. similarly you cannot force them to prioritise your allegations over others.
The job of the Crown is to assess the credibility of complaints. That is something they are entitled and obligated to do.
You are free to complain but that will not do anything to endear yourself to officers. i would never advise a complaint against the police.
Sorry but that is the reality. You can't complain just because they have taken the view your allegations lack merit or are not priority.
Can I clarify anything for you?
Your rights are varied and the same as everybody else's in the UK.
They do not extend to have his bail revoked upon allegation only or to being given priority over other complainants I'm afraid.
The police very definitely are interested in breaches of bail. They have just taken a view about these breaches. People are always have their bail revoked and being arrested upon breach. This is not a policy issue.
