This answer was rated:

I wanted to know if someone who had once had a bankruptcy (discharged in 2014) could act as a Power of Attourney?
JA: Where is this? And has anything been officially filed?
Customer: Nothing filed yet.
JA: Has anything been filed in civil court? If so, what?
Customer: You mean regarding the bankruptcy?
JA: Anything else you want the Lawyer to know before I connect you?
Customer: no

Hello I will assist you today.

As a discharged bankrupt, Yes you can act as power of attorney.

A person can even act as executor to a will even if not discharged.
