Will he not go to prison for getting married to someone while still married to someone else?

Hello.

I could help with the last question you ask about going to prison but I won't know this subject at all otherwise.

Is that what you wanted?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Even though what I have with him is Islamic Marriage, would he go to prison because he did it while he is still legally married to a Christian woman?

Thank you.

If you mean a Nikah ceremony then they are invalid in the UK following a case in Feb 2020 which you will find here

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-london-51508974

Therefore, this would not amount to the crime of bigamy.

This is, unless, of course a civil ceremony took place.

Can I clarify anything for you?
