My employer pays a small hourly rate which is then topped up

Customer Question

Hi
JA: Hi. How can I help?
Customer: My employer pays a small hourly rate which is then topped up with commission. This is fine & my average hourly rate is about £10.30.
JA: Have you discussed this with a manager or HR? Or with a lawyer?
Customer: However they insist that holidays are played at flat rate (£6.50ph) & not an average of the previous 12 weeks.
JA: What is your employment status? Are you an employee, freelancer, consultant or contractor? Do you belong to a union?
Customer: Employed
JA: Anything else you want the Lawyer to know before I connect you?
Customer: No thanks
