My partner and I are buying a property and contributing unequal amounts to the deposit/land duty tax. We will be paying all other associated expenses 50/50 and so want to hold the property in equal shares but want some way of officially documenting that if the property is sold, we are each entitled to the cash sum each of us contributed to the purchase out of any excess remaining once the mortgage is discharged, with any remainder left after that then split 50/50. I've looked at standard trust deeds but these only seem to allow for the entire property to be owned as % shares based on the value of the initial contribution rather than ring fencing the initial value of the contribution themselves. So what is the best way of ensuring we protect our initial investment but still hold the property 50/50? Is this possible?

Customer: We're due to exchange on 11th, but our solicitor wants an additional £400 plus Vat to advise on this so just trying to get a feel of what is possible before committing to pay this.

Hi, I have recently split from a 7 month relationship and am being asked for money for professional services and purchases from DIY stores that was made by my ex on his own will since splitting. He has whatsapped me with the ask for 650, less 100 that I gave him, which equals 550. I have now since received an invoice from his sole trader business asking for me to formally pay him 690. My wife has applied for divorce on 25/03/2021 and until today she has not applied for degree nisiFinancial remedy proceedings are ongoing and next first hearing is in September 2022We were married in Pakistan and never registered our marriage in the uk but I believe it’s recognisable hereI have already appointed a solicitor who has drafted a divorce petition to file with the council on Pakistan to start divorce proceedings which will require three notices one notice each month and after 3 months I can ask for divorce certificate which takes another 2 weeksI have emailed the court and they advised they have not received any further instructions from the petitioner and I can apply myself for divorce here but I want to divorce in a sharia way and where we got married to dissolve else it won’t dissolve if if she gets a degree absolute hereMy question is by starting my divorce proceedings in Pakistan will do the following for me:1- This will bring the truth out of my wife if she was really serious about divorcing which I doubt and have received requests for reconciliation which I have denied but not direct2- This is will force them to conclude their divorce proceedings on the UK and not drag3- Once she is divorced in Pakistan, she will no longer be my wife and according to sharia law I will be done with the marriage which the uk court witter accept it or not but I will be free according to the Pakistani law and she will not be my wife anymorePlease give your view on it
