Are you asking if they can do this?

Expert:  Jo C. replied 9 days ago.

Did you ever claim?

Customer: replied 9 days ago.
NO. I forgot to mention that I did not claim, I paid for the repair from my own pocket. It was a courtesy call from me and it has caused me trouble ever since.

Thanks for the information

If you didn’t claim then itshouldn’t have made any difference at all to your policy.

You need to check what isthe basis for this increase. They shouldspecify.

If it is that you haveincreased the risk because you have claimed then that is wrong and you cancomplain to the insurance ombudsman.

Can I clarify anything for you?

Hopefully, Ihave answered your query in a way that is simple and easy to understand. Ifanything remains unclear, I will be more than happy to clarify it for you. Inthe meantime, thank you once again for using our services.
