The first step is to email the police officer in charge of the case with your addendums to your statement. You have the right to do so. However if for any reason they do not do this you will also have the opportunity to speak with the Crown Prosecution Service to give full evidence. However, I would continue to chase up the police in the meantime, specifically the officer who is in charge of the investigation.
