The father has given a report which is old news regarding my mental health to court and they had an emergency hearing grating him custody of the children, the court hearing is 15th September in Chester, there has been history of domestic abuse on police record and I was awarded a b12 from criminal injuries from this

You can apply for an adjournment on form C2. You need to make this application as soon as possible, but first you should seek the agreement of the other party (via his solicitor if he has one) as the court are more likely to adjourn if both parties agree. If they don't agree, you need to submit the C2: cost is £215 unless you are on a low income or benefits in which case you may be eligible for fee remission.

How do I go about submitting the c2 application

You can find your local court here: https://www.gov.uk/find-court-tribunal

However, I suggest you go to the legal aid link I provided above to see if you can get a solicitor under legal aid first.

What does this mean please .Hearing to proceed as listed. Respondent can make representations to the Judge on the day if she requires more time’.

You should open new threads with new queries. I will answer this single query for free here.

It means the hearing is going ahead and your application to adjourn failed. You will be able to ask the judge again on the day of the hearing.

All the best.
