need to understand about Trusts to reduce IHT. If grandarents put cash into a Trust, with grandchildren being the beneficiaries and their daughter is looking after the trust. Can the daughter use the funds for e.g. to for grandparents care etc ? Thanks.

Good morning thank you for your question. Unless the grandparents are also named as beneficiaries of the Trust, or the Trustees have power to add beneficiaries (usually with the consent of the current beneficiaries) which could be the grandparents, then the grandparents could not benefit from the Trust assets.
