I have a cafe which as got hoardings 3ft in front of it, the company that owns the building site did keep promising that it would mound down for the past year and still as not, I approached the for compensation, but all the could offer was to put a cafe sign on there hoarding which as made no difference to our trade, we have had to close at 1pm every day and we can’t even afford to pay the rent because of the hoarding and interruption from the build site which is just3ft away from our front !

It’s a new building there constructing and it’s called Iona rose, the owners are soho estates, the hoardings have been there for over 2 years and as impacted severely with our business, and have had to close at 1pm due to the noice and lack of people walking past due to it being like an alley way, I do have pictures from 2years ago and from today aswell

Hi, can you please explain why three payments have been taken out of my bank acc without my permission, 1 is for £5 which is ok but there are 2 others payments which I know nothing about 1 is for £50 and 1 is for £44 ? Can you please let me know ASAP

A lot depends on what it says in your lease because in many
leases the landlord is allowed to do this otherwise you have a claim against
the landlord for breach of covenant for quiet enjoyment.

You potentially also have a claim in common-law nuisance but
you need to look at the lease because if the landlord owns your property and
next door and it says that he can do this, then you have no claim.

I will refer the payments to customer services for you
and you might want to do the same.
