I am being harassed online and it has caused career and commercial damage. Can I challenge the websites that host the liable posts?
JA: Where are you? It matters because laws vary by location.
Customer: North Yorkshire, UK.
JA: What steps have you taken so far?
Customer: None. I have just ignored it. But it is damaging and slanderous.
JA: Is there anything else the Lawyer should know before I connect you? Rest assured that they'll be able to help you.
Customer: The posts are made anonymously but I have a good idea who they are.

Ok, so you could report this to the Police as it could amount to a harassments. Additionally, you could consider legal action in defamation.
