Hi i need advice from a lawyer.
JA: Where are you? It matters because laws vary by location.
Customer: London,UK
JA: What steps have you taken so far?
Customer: Nothing thus far, i was summoned to attend court the other day. They sent me an email on the day i was meant to attend and i couldn't go because of the short notice. It was adjourned for another date of which i again cannot attend because i will be away on that day.
JA: Is there anything else the Lawyer should know before I connect you? Rest assured that they'll be able to help you.
Customer: I will ask him or her the question.

You can contact the court and explain that you cannot attend on the date proposed and request they change it. Is this a criminal or civil matter?

Well this is what i've been accused of - On 11/09/2021 at Heathrow airport, while not being the holder of a private hire vehicle operator licence for london, made provision for the acceptance of a private hire booking. Contrary to section 2 of the private hire vehicles (London) act 1998.I'm a licence taxi driver and couldn't pick up my Malaysian Asian friends from the airport because it would be illegal for me to do that. So i asked my Black friend to pick them up. He is not a licence taxi driver, so the pickup was a friend to friend pickup. No money was exchanged.

I understand and this is for you to argue in court, I can't comment on this.
