Hi - I have a question pertaining to double taxation between the U.K. and India
JA: Have you talked to a lawyer about this? In which country do you live? If different, which country is your legal question related to?
Customer: i am a U.K. resident and I have an asset for sale in india
JA: What steps have you taken so far?
Customer: None, I’m just starting to enquire

Thank you for the details. If you pay CGT in India due to the double taxation treaty between India an UK you will not be liable for any CGT in the UK .You will not be taxed twice on that .
