Hi there. Ive deleted some photos from iPhoto but when i check my events or photos in iMovie or mail the photos are still there, but they are not in iPhoto.
I was wondering how to permanently delete these files, or find out the exact file these unwanted pictures are in. Because i did 100% delete them from iPhoto. its very frustrating. Please help.
Thank you for your question, my name is Richard.

iPhoto is just displaying the photos from the computer.

The photos themselves are not actually in iPhoto.

If you open finder and delete the photos there, do they then dissapear from Mail and iMovie?

Please let me know

Thank you

i don't want to delete all photos.....but there are a lot of photos that i have deleted in Finder and they still appear in iMovie Photos and Mail there any way to locate these photos?

ok, iMovie and Mail is a copy of these photos, not the photos themselves John.

It makes a copy as it stores it locally.

Can you delete them from there as well please and tell me if they remain deleted.

Delete just the ones you want to get rid of please.

I've tried to delete these photos from mail and iMovie, but it wont allow me to delete them, unless you know a way how to do it.

Can I log on and look please on the connected computer?

It is easier to work with you on this. You can see and control everything I do

Click the below link and click START MEETING on the web page

It will download a program to your computer

Run the program by double clicking it, and it will give you a set of 9 numbers

Give me the numbers at the top of the screen (exaple: 456-789-123) in your message to me here please

Thank you
