Customer Question

Good afternoon ! I have experienced lately a problem whereby when certain songs are played on my ipod they end approximately 20 seconds or so early before going onto the next song. This happens from my itunes file when transferring onto my ipod or indeed when you burn a CD. It happens only to certain songs and always the same ones !!!

Could you help with a solution ?

Hi Brendan,

You are correct that you are not the only person with this issue unfortunately.

The easiest way to resolve this issue is to backup the iTunes music folder onto an external hard drive or make a copy of the folder onto your desktop. Delete the music folder that is on the C:\ drive then use the iTunes import feature for that copied folder instead of downloading the files from iTunes cloud. During that process it will look for gaps in the song and remove them.
