Customer Question

I have an apple macbook and my server is safari.I have been trying since Monday to switch from bt yahoo mail to the new bt email. After following all the instructions all I get is a blank page and am unable to access my emails. After failing I took my computer to my son-in-law who spent two hours trying to do the same but was unsuccessful. Any suggestions.

Hello Carole! Thank you for your question. I am a licensed computer professional with over ten years of experience, and I will be assisting you today.

I'm sorry about the issue. Do you mean when you go to the BT email website or Yahoo email website , you get a blank page?

Do you have another computer or can you try your email on another computer to test?

Have you tried the bt or yahoo email website with another Internet browser, besides Safari, such as Firefox, or Chrome?

Please reply at the box below. Thank you,

My son-in-law tried my daughters laptop which is a dell and internet explorer runs on Microsoft and that was fine.

Thank you for confirming. So the bt / yahoo email website does not work on your mac computer, but it works fine on your daughter's laptop. Please try the following:

In Safari application, please click Safari menu at the top bar
, then click EMPTY CACHE if available, then the Empty button, then check your email.
If that that does not work, in the top menu bar, click Safari menu again
, then click Reset Safari, then click on Reset, then check email.

If that still does not work, please download and install Firefox internet browser application at the website below:
, then open Firefox application, then go to the website or in Firefox and sign in your email, and see if email works in Firefox.
