The message says connect to i tunes but I do not know how to do
this. can you help me please

Besides the iPad, do you also have a Windows or Mac computer? If yes, do you have the iTunes program installed / working on the computer? And have you connected the iPad to the computer with the USB cable that came with the iPad?

I don't know what kind of password. When we discovered I could

use fingerprint recognition we went on to use that but the i pad was

switched off for more than 2 days and thats when the password ***** required. I don't have i tunes on my lap top and did not get a USB cable

with the i pad

The USB cable is included in the charging cable; you can split it at the power adapter.

Does your laptop have windows xp, vista, or 7, or 8? Or is it a mac laptop?

My lap top is HP using windows 7
