I've tried many times to download Adobe flash player and it says it's done but it won't work, can you help please?
Hi and Welcome. My Name is ***** ***** I look forward to assisting you today with your question. First we can uninstall all existing flash players and then redownload a fresh flash player. Download the flash player uninstaller from here --> Open it and run the uninstaller. Then download and install latest flash player from here --> After installing flash player, check BBC. Please let me know if that didn't work, so we can continue troubleshooting. Hi Ashik
I've tried uninstalling flash player then installing but that didn't work I'm afraid, any other ideas?
What version of Mac OS X are you using ? Have you tried BBC in different browser like Chrome ? Chrome is the best browser out there that can work without installing flash player. Get Chrome from here --> Open CHrome and access the BBC site. Are you able to play videos there ?

Hi Ashik, sorry for slow replies, busy with kids etc!
We're using OS X El Capitan 10.11.2
Just downloaded chrome and it seems to now work the videos
Many thanks
Hi Angus, You're most welcome. Keep Chrome. It works with all sites without any problems as flash player is inbuilt in Chrome. Best Regards,Ashik

Thanks Ashik, Chrome's been working ok - the only issue so far is all the unsolicited pop ups I keep getting and I can't find where to block them on system preferences, can you help?
You can block the pop ups in Chrome.
Open Chrome.
In the top-right corner, click the Chrome menu Chrome menu.
Click Settings.
Click Show advanced settings.
Under "Privacy," click Content settings.
Under "Pop-ups," select Do not allow any site to show pop-ups
or download and install this plugin on Chrome ->
