I have been given an Apple ipad, but am finding a problem.

Customer Question

I have been given an Apple ipad, but am finding a problem. The ipad was given to me by my daughter, and when it was set up she asked us questions, one of which was our email address. Not realising that that would form the basis for all that goes on, we gave my husband's, since that is the usual one we use for general purposes. Unfortunately I have my own email address, and so I get all his emails and it also has caused lots of problems re passwords etc. Trying to sort it out we are now in a position where we do not appear to have any connections with the internet. I cannot send emails, nor can I get to do shopping.
Help - it's driving my husband mad (although he may have contributed to the state we are now in with the ipad!!!

Hi and Welcome. My Name is ***** ***** I look forward to assisting you today with your question. First off, go to this website and create a brand new Apple ID using your email account from here --> Then on your iPad, go to Settings tap Mail, Contacts, Calendars and you will find your husband's email address there. Tap it and remove it (Delete Account). After that go to Settings > iTunes & App Store. If you see an Apple ID there, then tap it and tap Sign Out. Then Sign In to your account. Then go to Settings > iCloud and you will also see the iCloud ID there. Tap Sign Out at the bottom. Sign in to your account. Also make sure your device is connected to WiFi Network. To do that, go to Settings tap WiFi. Select your WiFi network, enter your password ***** connect it. Doing all these will delete your husband's account from the iPad and register it to your account. If you have any difficulty on following the steps above, please let me know.
