I have ordered a new iPad Air which is being delivered on Friday next week. My current device is an iPad 4. Will it be easy to transfer my data to the new iPad?

Customer: I have had my current iPad from new and it will no longer accept any updates because of its age. I just need to know how to transfer current data on my ipad4 to my new iPad air

Wonderful! Here is what you need to do. Just login to the new iPad using the same old iCloud email from the old iPad. During the setup, it will ask you if you want to restore your data from your old device, choose this option to restore your data add the same old iCloud email. That's it :)

All your data will start syncing on this new one.
