JA: When did you last change your password ***** Apple ID?
Customer: Really cannot remember i just could not get the hang of it i think it has being laying around for over 12 months
JA: Did you try resetting through Apple's online account reset tool?
Customer: I went to shop to sell it and it was him that told me to get in touch with you have not spoken to anyone else

First you need to figure out you Apple ID username.

Only then can you use iForgot to reset the password.

You should use a computer to reset the password ***** iForgot, because you will be getting a code to a second device for authentication.
