Customer Question

its gone into 'limp mode' and won't accelerate. I have it checked by a local garage but they couldn't find anything wrong, despite the engine management light coming on
JA: Does the light stay on, or does it blink?
Customer: stays on
JA: What is the model/year of your Mazda?
Customer: 2015 CX-3
JA: Are you fixing your CX-3 yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: not fixing it myself, have taken it to local garage and they ran a diagnostics test, nothing showed up
JA: Is there anything else the Mechanic should know before I connect you? Rest assured that they'll be able to help you.
Customer: no

Hi my name is ***** ***** to hear that your having problems with your car

You maybe offered a phone call but I don’t think it’s necessary at the moment

It sounds like your local garage didn’t have the correct equipment to get the fault code from the car which will be stored if the light has been on
Customer: replied 15 days ago.
would it be better to take it to an actual Mazda garage?
Expert:  RichardM1126 replied 15 days ago.
