welcome to JA
Do you know what blood test was done?
No sorry I don't
Well, there are many reasons to be feeling ill as you describe
FOr one, you could have had mononucleosis
This would be a flu which makes you feel exhausted for months
That being said, some flu like illnesses precede autoimmune disease like lupus, etc
I think that you need to go back to your GP and have the following tests:1. Mononucleosis
2. FBC (CBC)
3. Chem 7 panel
4. Liver function tests
5. ESR, serum RPR, CRP
I doubt that all of this was done in the first go
are you still there?
Yes I am still here, thank you for your suggestions. Can I simply request that my GP do these tests.
please print out this transcript or you can cut and paste this informatino
Or you can [email protected]
Did I provide you with excellent service? :-)?
Also, I probably should mention that in previous blood tests I was found to be iron deficient and had similar symptons apart from the aching joints and was on iron tablets, and although my iron levels were checked this time they were normal
right, well the FBC will see if you are anemic still
In the meantime, make sure you are eating a well balanced diet- and take a daily multivitamin
Many thanks, XXXXX XXXXX did provide an excellent service ;-0
sorry, I guess there is a delay
I hope you feel better soon :-)
Thank you, XXXXX XXXXX I
