the soles of my feet are numb and have pins and needles - this started about 6 days ago- what is the problem
Hello from JA

I am Dr. Thomas, board certified in internal medicine and I can help you with this and any follow up questions. I cover a lot of ground and might give you an answer or ask for information, but use reply to communicate with me for questions or added details.

There are many reasons this can happen.

unknown cause
Disc disease in the lower spine..being over weight makes this more likely, an MRI would reveal this

B vitamin deficiencies
Certain autoimmune diseases and neurologic disease such as poly neuropathy
Liver or kidney disease
Hidden infections
Heavy metal toxicity
hidden malignancy

It is better to have this investigated now, not later....
It could even be the start of guillaine barre syndrome...unlikely but ascending neuropathy.

An internal medicine doctor can figure this out in one or two visits.

OK. If you have further questions or details, use reply to expert.

Otherwise please choose a positive rating . But, still come back if you need to…think of something later, etc. Bonuses are appreciated.
