I am Dr Ken and I will be helping you today.

Are there associated symptoms like swelling in the region/ redness/ pain? Since when are you having these pulsation feeling? Do you have any diagnosed medical condition?
Customer: replied 4 years ago.

No swelling No Redness No Pain

Pulses since a month or so crescendo.

I'm diagnosed with schizophrenia.

Expert:  Ken replied 4 years ago.
Hello Lucas,

I am happy that there are no associated symptoms.

Let me explain a bit. Feeling of pulsations can be due to either abnormality at the vessels in the region {aneurysm or stenosis} OR increased blood flow {anemia, vitamin deficiency, raised blood pressure, thyroid abnormality or heart abnormality}.

Gradual increase in the symptoms and it affecting your sleep worries me a bit. A physical evaluation along with few investigations like blood tests/ x ray for spine followed by MRI if needed later should give us more answers.

Till than - Have balanced diet, adequate fluid, avoid alcohol or smoking. Stay away from anxiety or stress {Yoga, meditation help}.

Wish you well.
