Ask a Doctor and Get an Answer to Your Medical Question ASAP
This is Dr. David
no, a doctor can not prescribe medications and have it send from an EU country to another EU country.
there are too many boarders and regulations to over come that way.
if you are in the UK, you have to see a doctor in the UK and get a prescription there for a pharmacy in the UK for the NHS to help pay for it.
I have used an online pharmacy in the past and have had a doctor look over it
is this just a grey area or illegal?
Even in a pharmacy I have been told foreign prescriptions from the EU can be processed
as long as it is not a controlled substance
this is a grey area for purchasing medications.
for certain medications. which are not controlled.
but you might have to pay for it with cash if it is not your home country
what is your specific situation?
Xanax, Valium to the UK bought online via a consultation from an EU member state
consultation being online with a doctor I should say
these typically are controlled substances.
you don't want to see a doctor face to face in the UK?
thanks for the information
but it does not seem like a question that can be explained here, as I have tried before in the legal section
In a detailed answer I would want to see which drug schedules are allowed via online consultation
I don't think this is possible

thanks for using JustAnswer.com
why did you rate poor service?
I am saying poor service simply because the question has not been answered intricately enough, I'm sorry but coming from somewhat of a pharmaceutical background it seems you are unsure of the subject in question. Thank you for taking your time with me though
let me know if you have other questions.
