I have noticed two round 20P size red rashes on my thigh last

This answer was rated:

I have noticed two round 20P size red rashes on my thigh last night, close to inner part of the thigh, dont remember if I bumped any where. They just appeared. Nothing else on the body at all. No pain or swelling. Not painful to touch either just red. My CBC has recently been done (4 weeks ago) because I was bit dizzy and tired all the time. All values are normal. I have on going stress for months now.
I just am worried , what could this be? Should I be concerned.
Can you attach a photo of the rash?

Customer: replied 4 years ago.

would the photo be published here or can I send it on a secure email?

It you attach it here, it would be generally visible, but your name and personal information are not associated with it. Even the experts cannot access the personal information of customers.

If you want to send it to an e-mail, it would be necessary to send it to the customer service e-mail [email protected], and ask them to forward it to me.

I have attached it here. It just feels like little breakage of inner skin blood vessels. Please help me understand so I can feel relieved. Like I said its no where else. Just here and not painful . all blood values of 4 weeks ago normal.

This has the appearance of a type of bruise. You are correct that this represents breakage of blood vessels in the skin. The occurrence of a single group of this is most likely from an episode of minor trauma that you do not recall. It is fairly common for people to get such bruises on the legs without recalling any specific trauma.

This will typically resolve spontaneously. There is generally no reason for concern about this when it occurs as an isolated incident, even though there are several present. The only time that this would be concerning would be if there are recurrent lesions that occur over time and at multiple locations on the body to see if there is a condition that predisposes the person to form bruises more easily. But a single incident is not a reason for worry or for further evaluation.

Thank you. It really helps me calm down. I googled it and it shows scary results and I agree you needed to see it before giving a good evaluation. How long should they be present? Two are in red colour and the other very tiny 2 are black. Do they change colour? If they stay longer , should I be worried?

It will usually take a week or two for them to resolve, although occasionally slightly longer. Yes it is common for them to change colours; it is because of the healing process as the body breaks down and absorbs the pigment in the skin. If they do not resolve after a few weeks, it would be appropriate to be checked.
