is the prednisone helping?
is this an autoimmune polyneuralgia?
if it is an autoimmune polyneuralgia, then other immune suppressing medications like methotrexate might help
also nerve pain medications like neurontin or lyrica or elavil might help as well.
have you tried lyrica or neurontin before?
makes sure you take the prednisone with food in your stomach.
the omeprazole is to help decrease stomach acid so the prednisone doesn't upset your stomach which it can often do.
try to take the prednisone as early in the day as you can, as it can cause poor sleep.
