why have I had an implant for endometrial intra epithelial

why have I had an implant for endometrial intra epithelial neoplasia I am 63 years old
Hello. I'm Dr. Phil, licensed and practicing internist. Excellent service is my goal.

Thanks for this question

This implant is intended to destroy the tissue that is abnormal.

The endometrial intra epithelial neoplasia is essentially cancerous tissue

The implant will hopefully destroy this tissue

If it doesn't, you may need a hysterectomy to remove the uterus.

This would be the next step

I hope this helps.
