My cats have taken an interest in smelling my legs. I have type 2 diabetes and take metformin & zicron and have done for 2/3 years. The only change in my other medications is the withdrawal of plaquenil for my urticaria l vasculitus. Any ideas please
Hi--do they do this right after you bathe or shower? What are your blood sugars running?
Customer: replied 4 years ago.

No it can be at anytime blood sugars are around 4/5

OK Dareleen. Has anyone else remarked about any body odor or a change in your breath?
Customer: replied 4 years ago.

No and not got a breath problem

OK. I don't think this indicates any medical problem from your side and I can't say what's going on with your cats except to say that they can be unpredictable. If your diabetes were out of control or there were a kidney problem, either of those might cause a change in the "smell" of your skin or breath but I really don't think that's the problem here. Just to be sure, check with your doctor about blood work to check your kidney function
