iam 71yrs old suffer from anxety and depression on 45mg mirtazpine and zolidem 10mg per night all started back in 2011 when I woke up with a very server headach pain lasting about 1hour since then I have not been able to fall back to to sleep without aid as said-could I have damage something in my brain as I have lost my houmor and cant laught at funny things still the same now can you help or give me some advice

OK Patrick, and we can continue after this if you'd like. For one thing your sleep apnea may be part or all of the problem and you probably now need a CPAP machine to treat that. You need the brain MRI to look for any scarring from a potential bleed in the brain that caused that headache in the past. Finally, acupuncture and hypnotherapy can help with your sleep problems
