Customer Question

Hi! I wrote yesterday but didn't have the money to proceed and go any further. Since when I was a teenager I have had low libido and struggled to maintain an erection,I am now 23 and the problem has only if anything got worse and it's effecting my realtionship . I am also always lethargic and although I wouldn't say I was depressed I am constantly always grumpy and can never focus on many things without my mind going foggy

I am Dr Ken and I will be helping you today.

Were any investigations done to see for the cause?
Customer: replied 4 years ago.
I went to the doctors once before bit they said it wouldn't be low testosterone because I'm at such a young age

I do understand your anxiety.

There are many causes which need to be considered -

Anemia, vitamin or zinc deficiency/ psychological causes/ abnormality at the vessels of penis/ hormonal causes {thyroid to be specific}.

Next step - A physical evaluation {Urologist is preferred} along with few investigations like blood tests/ ultrasound with doppler study for penis. A discussion with psychiatrist {if needed later} would help too.

Till than - Have balanced diet, adequate fluid/ avoid alcohol, smoking/ stay away from stress or anxiety {Yoga, meditation help}, lose excess weight if any, exercise regularly.

Wish you well.
