Hello. I'm Dr. Phil, licensed and practicing internist. Excellent service is my goal.

Thanks for this question

The neck, arm and shoulder pain is concerning for a disc bulge in the neck.

Neck spine discs can bulge out and press on nerves. this often causes shoulder and arm pain

this can be diagnosed with an MRI of the neck and often treated with physio and muscle relaxers and anti inflammatories

Your GP is a good stop for this.

I recommend that to start

is the knee pain not related then?

No I don't think it is.

That is likely just as you thought

i have appointment 6th april with gp do you think i should wait till then if possible?

could it just be a posture issue?

Expert:  Dr. Phil, MD replied 3 years ago.
Yes it could be. If posture is bad then muscles can be tight in the neck and pinch nerves

Yes you can wait til then

if it is posture what can i do to relieve the pain as it is constant? besides tryin sit upright etc how long if posture would u expect it to correct itself

Expert:  Dr. Phil, MD replied 3 years ago.
I think you might need muscle relaxers

I would also try ibuprofen for inflammation

Stretching will help.

Here is a link to some exercises

Okay I didn't know that Imi

In that case, just rest and try to get in with the GP as soon as possible

You need muscle relaxants and an MRI
