Hi Doc. I have had a pacemaker since March 1991(more than one of c ourse).My annual checkups have all been the same, a steady usage, as my pacemaker is only on a "as needed" setting. i.e. under 60 beats and over 150 beats. I purchased a new car in September 2013, it had a keyless ignition, the transmitter remained in my pocket. I have been told that induction could be the cause (EMI).

Yes that is very possible

You may want to get rid of the keyless ignition

However, I suspect that the device may be pacing more often
