I am suffering from excessive wind from both ends but my burps are very smelly. I have this happen a few times a year, I also have stomach pains with these symptoms
Hi--have you seen a doctor about this and, if so, have you had any tests or procedures for it?
Customer: replied 4 years ago.

Not seen a doctor about it, I take omeprazole daily

OK Anthony--any other medical conditions and how are your bowel movements? And can you tell me more about the pain?
Customer: replied 4 years ago.

I have back injury for which I take zomorph and gabapentin and my bowel movement's are always erratic, they are either constipated or loose but never normal. The stomach pain is not bad but I assumed they are caused by the wind.

OK Anthony. There are a few possibilities here. First off, you need a screening for H pylori--the so-called ulcer bug, but you don't have to have an ulcer with it. That needs antibiotics to eradicate. Another possibility would be irritable bowel syndrome, but that doesn't usually cause burping problems. Finally it could be something like lactose intolerance. You need to see a doctor about this, and I'd also have you undergo upper and lower endoscopy to evaluate the problem
