Are there any really effective natural anticoagulants?I am not happy having to take warfarin.I have atrial fibrillation.

I am board certified in integrative medicine and internal medicine [so I cover cardiology and alternatives].
There is no provenly consistent natural anticoagulant for this situation.

I have had patients use natto kinase, but there is no evidence that this is effective.

Woodear mushroom does increase bleeding time, just as aspirin does, but we don't know how consistently, or what dose [Dr. Weil suggests 3 mushrooms a day...but how big, what quality, that is all up in the air].

So, the answer is no.
But there are conventional alternatives to warfarin if you qualify, such as pradaxa.
