I've got pain in my neck and shoulders, feels very tender, I'm 36 and a smoker
Hello. I'm Dr. Phil, licensed and practicing internist. Excellent service is my goal.

Thanks for this question

Any other symptoms like vision disturbances, fever, chills?

Any unusual activity?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
No fever, this has been going on for about 2 months and stops when I stop smoking
It is probably inflammation in the upper airways

I doubt it is anything serious like lung cancer

That is not a common complaint with cancer

I suspect you are irritating your throat and insides.
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
The chest is tender too. I also have a strange sensation in my chin when I smoke. Getting slightly paranoid this is something serious.
I highly doubt anything serious

It sounds like you are getting anxiety related to your smoking

I don't think anything bad like emphysema or cancer though
Customer: replied 3 years ago.
Thank you so much. What can I get to control my anxiety please?
ask your GP for zoloft or paxil

they work well
