My grand daughter, age 25, has just been diagnosed with an over active thyroid ( like her mother and great grandmother!)
She has seen a GP and been referred to consultant, but has not been seen yet.
She is supposed to entering a race in of cancer research, and feel that this is not advisable, since she obviously has a rapid heart rat, and feels breathless. She has not been prescribed any medication as yet, by her GP.
What is your opinion?

Hi. With the already rapid heart rate and, I would assume, an elevated blood pressure, her heart is already being strained here--almost like she's already in the race while she's just sitting still.
