I started off 2-3 months ago with 2lumps in my neck on my right

Customer Question

I started off 2-3 months ago with 2lumps in my neck on my right side just above my clavicle, which have since grown a tiny bit but then another one appeared a few weeks after the first 2 but in the same area, none of them are sore, but then last week two small ones appeared on the other side of my neck and yesterday I noticed a small pea sized one appeared just under the lumps on my right-hand side only this one is tender to touch. I also have strange things happening to my voice, nothing to do with the lumps but do you think I should go and get checked by a Doctor. Karen.

Hello What is your question exactly

Should they be checked?

Why not?

Customer: replied 3 years ago.
I have a GP appointment in 3 weeks but I am wondering if I should get a sooner one,or is it unlikely to matter if I wait the three weeks as I don't have any other problems? Getting a GP appt where I live is as rare as hens teeth! And I don't want to go to him if it's not really necessary .
Kind regards

I see.
No, an extra few weeks will not matter on this, unless they were infected and rapidly swelling.
However, I would not cancel the appointment, as they need to be examined.
