I have a jones fracture and sprained ankle and been in cast for the last 3 weeks. Had an x ray today and doc put me in an airboot he suggested walking on it a little as this may help circulation, but im a bit nervous of this as some say not to walk on such an injury, so im just looking for another opinion. Thanks

It is unclear what your doctor meant exactly.
You could start by sitting and putting minimal wait on it.
Then minimal weight with crutches.

If this goes well, talk with your doctor before you advance the weight bearing.

This should be OK.
