If a 2-3 year old child has a moderate aneurysm due to kawasaki

This answer was rated:

If a 2-3 year old child has a moderate aneurysm due to kawasaki will it repair itself as he grows? Will he always have a weakness? Should he moderate what he does?
Hi--no the aneurysm won't repair itself. There is medical treatment to reduce the risk of the aneurysms that child have or may develop with this disorder and in time he may be able to be reasonably active in his life but there is no cure for the disorder.
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

So does this mean he is likely to have a weakness all his life and will it lead to heart disease as an adult?

The major problem may be his heart and his coronary arteries but a lot of kids with Kawasaki's can go on to live normal lives--it can be an unpredictable disease
