i have had a STI check but it did not include Herpres and Syphilis

This answer was rated:

i have had a STI check but it did not include Herpres and Syphilis 8 days ago, it came back clear but in the last 4 days i have had a redness appear on my penis which has been very itchy on the first day and now quite sore some of the time after. i put my self at risk of an STI 4 weeks ago.
the redness has not broken out into any blisters of sores that i can see but i have had pain after urinating but i did prior to my STI test.
it is smooth to feel and a little tender to touch.
i am worried the STI test might of missed something like herpes as i have not being feeling very well either.
any help greatly appreciated and i have a picture to upload as well

hi there i am trying to upload it now

This does not look like any STI.
There are a couple of possibilities as far as I am concerned:
1. Yeast infection of the penis which can be treated by something like monistat cream which is over-the-counter.
2. Allergic reaction to something which can be treated with topical hydrocortisone.
You can use both the above in combination as well.
However having said that I would recommend that you should be seen to confirm the diagnosis.
I am pretty sure that this is not related to any STI.

should i worry about the the fact that i have felt unwell and also the fact that it was very itchy and i have sometimes pain after urinating. my main worry is that i have pain in my groin area as well. i am sure i am over thinking the STI thing!! but just want some confirmation as i cant get to a doctor for over a week

Pain when urinating is something for which you SHOULD have your urine tested.
You may have a urine infection that may not related to STI.
I am pretty sure this is not STI.
