Hi--just to be clear here are you referring to premature ejaculation, and, if so, can you tell me how long it's been a problem and whether you've discussed it with a doctor?

And have you discussed the problem with a doctor? Is this a continual problem for you?

No not at all

OK. And we can continue after this if you need to. This is not a physical problem as in a testosterone level problem or from other diseases like diabetes or heart conditions. It basically is a performance anxiety problem and there are two ways to deal with it. One would be to get a prescription for, say, Zoloft or amiltryptilene. These are basically antidepressants but one of their side effects is to delay ejaculation in men that don't have an ejaculatory problem to start with. The other option would be to see a therapist for cognitive behavioral therapy or to get acupuncture treatments or to see a hypnotherapist for relaxation training
