I am 60 yr old female diagnosed 1yr ago with hypothyroidism now 2 stone overweight despite working as gardener 6hrs per day. for about 6 weeks now i have been very tired sleeping for almost 11 hrs a day but according to my husband I spend it all snoring. I wake up every morning with a headache and feeling tired. for the last week I have been sweating profusely, my body smells like onions, my urine has turned brown (it is normaly clear) and my breath stinks even 10 mins after brushing my teeth.
I am an expert with long term experience in this area.
What is your most recent TSH value?
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

i believe it was 4 but I haven't been tested for several months

There is the problem.
That is still hypothyroid.
you are under treated and a TSH of 4 will keep you seek.
Ultimate management for most people is to bring the TSH down to .8, thereabout.
You most likely need an increase in your thyroid replacement dosage.
Check the exact value and talk with your doctor.
OK, so that is an initial answer….
